TRELLIS

Trellis at Mission is a new affordable housing project composed of 43 town-home style units, including a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom units, within nine buildings. Three of the nine buildings are two-story and the remaining six buildings are three-story buildings. It uses wood frame construction with stucco, masonry veneer, and metal panels to respond to the surrounding neighborhood context while expressing Trellis’ unique identity. Located in the Sunnyslope neighborhood, this development will help address the severe shortage of affordable housing and provide a unique opportunity for tenants to transition to homeownership after 15 years of residency. Trellis’ goal with this project is to “catalyze wealth creation in these households with the effect of building wealth for generations to come.”
