    Mark Davenport

    Partner In Charge

    Mark started as an intern at SPS+ over 20 years ago. Through his incredibly hard work and dedication to the firm he was able to become Partner by 2011. His passion for creating a work environment that is highly collaborative and empowers everyone to be the best they can be exemplifies his strength as a leader. His greatest wish is to be able to continue on the legacy of SPS+ by surrounding himself with incredibly talented people that position the firm to remain an innovative force that clients want to hire, and people want to work for.

    Richard Begay

    Partner

    Richard has been practicing architecture for over 20 years and is a prominent leader in Native American architectural design working with tribal communities in the education, housing, and government sectors.  Richard believes in weaving contemporary aesthetics with traditional influences to yield stunning and sustainable designs.  He has presented at national and university-sponsored academic and professional conferences and published work on Native American cultural design and aesthetics.

    Josh Bratcher

    Chief Operating Officer

    A Navy veteran and Arizona native, Josh has extensive experience in seeing small businesses through to success via end-to-end management of people, processes, and execution.  A natural and effective people leader, Josh has a track record of over 15 years in overseeing revenue growth, operations, professional development, strategic implementation, and more.

    John Moore

    Director of Construction Administration

    John ensures that every project maintains the highest quality standards and aligns with its strategic goals from start to finish. With a keen eye for detail, John diligently reviews documentation and reports to guarantee accuracy throughout the process. He works closely with Project Managers, providing vital support from the design phase through project close-out. When construction challenges arise, John proactively recommends solutions to keep the project moving forward. His strong communication skills, especially when addressing issues with Contractors, make him an invaluable asset during both design development and construction.

    Brent Heaton

    Studio Director

    ​Brent, Studio Director, joined SPS+ in 2015. He thrives on the dynamic nature of his work, finding excitement in solving unique challenges. As Project Manager, Brent is passionate about mentoring and sharing his extensive knowledge with the next generation of talented professionals. A true jack of all trades, he explores a variety of interests, including metalwork, woodworking, CNC equipment, home improvement, sewing, and 3D printing. Brent’s diverse skill set and enthusiasm make him a valuable member of the SPS+ team.

    Ricky Enriquez

    Studio Director

    Ricky, Studio Director at SPS+, joined the team in 2019 and is based in our Tucson office. He thrives on guiding projects from the conceptual phase all the way through construction, a process that fuels his passion for his role. His ability to view each project from the client’s perspective is one of his greatest strengths, allowing him to support their mission, values, and culture at every step.

    Jeremy Bloomer

    Studio Director

    Jeremy began his career over 25 years ago and has been a key member of the SPS+ team since 2002. As a Studio Director, his collaborative spirit and leadership skills have earned him a respected reputation within the firm. While his expertise is broad, he particularly excels in architectural detailing. Jeremy finds fulfillment in working with both internal and external teams.

    Morgan Ellig

    K-12 Director

    Morgan thrives on collaborating closely with clients to discover creative solutions. He believes in engaging in meaningful dialogue, not only with clients, but also with the site, context, and community. Design, to him, is a dynamic journey with diverse potential outcomes. Removing personal ego is key to finding the best solutions, achieved through attentive listening and interpreting subtle cues. Morgan approaches each of his projects with an open mind, eager to understand client goals and co-develop a vision together.

    Rob Bass

    Business Development Associate

    ​Rob Bass has worked at SPS+ since 2019 while being in the profession for 25 years. His vast experience managing a variety of building projects has given him comprehensive problem solving and conceptual skills. Helping clients realize their projects is his motivation as Project Manager. He knows when he sees the end users inhabiting a project and say “wow” he has been a part of a job well done.
