HOHOKAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

At the historic Ralph Haver-designed Elementary School, our team evaluated the existing building's condition, consulted with the community, and determined many of the original school buildings could be saved and renovated. The 45,000 SF renovation project includes a new addition of 34,000 SF that modernized this K-5 School. Demolition of 5 of the 11 buildings made space for the new additions of administration, media center, and multipurpose buildings, extended drop-off lane, parking, and updated playgrounds. The modernized historic campus is an excellent example of what upfront community engagement can do to ensure a beloved campus maintains its history and identity while bringing it into the 21st century.
