ED TV Studio 99
Location: Mesa, AZ
Owner: Mesa Public Schools
Size: 9,268 SF
This tenant improvement project was initiated to replace the outdated, cramped conditions of the existing Educational Television 99 (ED -T.V. 99) studio facilities. The Mesa Public Schools Creative Resources Center Building was chosen as the new home of ED-T.V. 99. The program included a large, primary television studio and control room with associated sound booth and audio recording rooms. Existing offices were Remodeled and new offices added to support administrative, production, and technical needs. To impart a stronger public identity, a new steel and glass entry leads to a generous lobby with a reception counter and waiting area. Restrooms were expanded and remodeled to facilitate preparation of guests for television appearances. New sets, studio lighting, television equipment, monitors, and cabling were included to bring ED-TV Studio 99 into the modern, digital age.
