Pickle House

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Owner: Chicanos por la Causa
Size: 35,100 SF

The CPLC Pickle House Makerspace Business Incubator will provide a platform for entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed. This high-profile historic rehabilitation project currently in design will transform the historic Arnold Pickle House into a small business incubator and makerspace in Downtown Phoenix. Originally built in the 1920’s as a family-owned pickle factory, this site sat vacant for years until Chicanos Por La Causa purchased it with a new vision. The adaptive reuse project will include a business incubator, high-tech tools and other resource for small businesses, all while retaining the nostalgia and imagery of the historic site.
