This 47,820 SF addition contains 30 classrooms, including standard academic classrooms, 5 general science classrooms and a large lecture type classroom. The science department includes a sizeable chemical storage/preparation area. 3,000 square feet are also dedicated to student athletic locker rooms, as well as coaching offices and facilities. Supporting spaces within the facility include the teachers’ workroom with toilets, student toilet core, janitor, MDF, storage rooms and other utility spaces required.

SPS+ received the notice to proceed with design on July 15, 2010. Within 90 days the CM@R received their notice to proceed for the construction of this $6,989,000 facility. All of the design and bidding was accomplished within this short time frame due to the intended use of the Construction Manager at Risk procurement process.
